Not rude at all. A bit like one of the responders by PM saying "don't take a blind recommendation", I'll be looking at who replied and what their contribution is like on the forums. Someone who has been around for 10 years and doesn't make too many idiotic comments is more likely to be considered than someone whose questions consist of basic accounting ones.
