mortgages for being classed as Ad hoc contractor
Hi all
Hoping some people can give me advice or somewhere to start looking
I recently gained employment with a company working on and servicing tobacco production/packing equipment (April this year) now with this job i am fully employed (sick pay, holiday pay, pension, payslips e.t.c) but i am only start getting paid when i step out of the front door to the airport and when i come back. i am paid a daily rate based on 8 hours a day then over time comes into effect aswell as disturbance rates for each country and expenses of £35 a day without needing receipts.
The money is good helped by the fact that generally i cant spend much of the money i earn depending on location needless to say in 6 months i have earned enough for a deposit and i don't have that much outgoings as i stay with family when i am back in the UK.
i spoke with Clydesdale bank to try gauge where i stand on the mortgage schemes and because i am only paid when working they class me as an ad hoc contractor and won't deal with me and pretty much said that alot of banks and lenders wont deal with me either because i have no guaranteed income. To which my reply was that there is no guarantee that a fully employed salary worker wont lose his job the next day and be in the same situation. but this is what i have been told and what i need to base my self off from.
So before i started contacting different brokers or financial specialists and possibly throwing money into a deep hole can anyone offer any sound advice or point me into the direction of companies that specialize in this sort of workings.
And if im also able to keep myself out of the UK and claim NT tax code would that effect anything ?
regards
