    They are in the process of rolling out Enterprise which is for SMEs so possibly the contractor model might fit. Cheapest limited company deal is £275 pcm do definitely at the "bluddy hell that's dear" end of the spectrum.

    I trained with KPMG back in the 90s - can't imagine they would have an affordable offering for a contractor given even the junior staff are charged out at exorbitant rates.

    Re 1st para, agree. Getting them to do a contractors accounts would be like me asking the firm that built the Olympic stadium if they'd put up some shelves for me.

    The big 4 - PWC, KPMG, EY & Deloitte - are I would suggest utterly irrelevant to the contractor and SME market - although I do know that KPMG have launched some SME services - KPMG enterprise - which will crash and burn very soon IMO. You'd pay through the nose for expertise which isn't relevant to you.

    In contractor circles, we have a big 3 - SJD, Nixon Williams and Brookson. AFAIK, two are excellent, one is rubbish.
