You might want to consider NMW, however if you are a Director of the company and you do not have a contract of employment you are not subject to NMW rules.
Assuming NMW does not apply to you there is nothing to suggest that a salary of £6k (as opposed to £11k) would be an issue with HMRC if they looked at it.
