Your trading address will be different from your registered address (and your director's service address) so if your ex really really wants to find you she still can. Plus I presume you are going to be on the electoral roll?

mainly to prevent ex from knowing my new address when I move next monthOriginally posted by VectraMan View PostI've used my home address for about 4 or 5 years, and I've never had any junk. Even if you do, why do you think changing it will stop the junk mail? They have your home address.

I can sympathise with that. In Maslins early days we worked from home, and I wouldn't allow clients to use our address as registered office address then. Now we have a separate office we do.Originally posted by diesel View Postmy accountant is a home worker so does not offer this service. Note i have had 4+ years reasonable service from my accountant, thus i am not in any desire to change just for registered office.
basically i wish to avoid people looking me up on director databases and know my home address - especially my ex when i move soon.
I've heard good things about the people here (I have no personal/financial connection with them).
Only thing I would say is don't go for the cheapest provider. Whilst you may not consider it a particularly important service, on occasion, vital bits of mail will go to the registered office address. You want to be very sure you get them (whether a scan via email or the hard copy forwarded).

Here is a search covering a number of threads on this exact topic. Something might help there. You could also try refining the search a little. It's just the first one I thought of..Originally posted by diesel View Postmy accountant is a home worker so does not offer this service. If they don't try thinking about swapping to one that does. Any contractor specialist will offer this service as they understand the fact we don't have offices. If your accountant doesn't I would question his knowledge and service to contractors.

Easiest would be for your accountant, other wise there are are lots of Virtual Office providers around, just be careful to check that they allow you to move your registered office rather than just be a billing address.

Registered company address provider
anyone recommend a provider i can use for a company registered address?
Currently have home address registered as company address, but get too much junk mail plus want ex to not have access to all my details.
Do i need to pay extra for mail forwarding?Tags: None
