    Worked at one client who said we want 12 hrs so we all thought sod that.
    Then they said ok 1.5 time daily rate so everyone happy. (they then said 1.5 for nights and 1.5 for weekends too - all cumulative - kerching!)

    Worked 5x 12 hr shifts one week and got 7.5 days for it. Pity it wasnt night or weekend.

    The forum doesn't allow you to have less than two characters in a post, so you can't just respond "4", so I added a full stop rather than a decimal point. If it was a decimal point, it would have been "4.0".

    I'm finding a lot of City jobs have a standard core working hours of 9 hours now and they say you will also be required to work on a rotational shifts. e.g 8-5pm or 1-10pm
    What happened to the good old 9-5
