That I think is my favourite.

I have just done this in the hotel bar in the US. We watched as the waitress passed the chit around for about ten minutes before returning and saying 'sorry we are having trouble working out how much you tipped'. One or two people said 'pi'. None of the staff had a ******* clue and eventually after someone said $3.14 you could see the staff thinking '****'

I thought it was funny though.
