Not sure what the last part is where blue blobs go into a cell and come out red. Some kind of cell defence mechanism against phages?

Seem to recall a Horizon type program about phages and how they were about to become the next big things for drug resistant infections

IIRC it was a Ruskie & American joint venture (pre wall collapse) but ended cos the Rusky & Yank fell out
