Neither, it is clearly a general issue "affecting and of interest to contractors." rather than, for example, Light Relief which is for "For anything not too serious, now including sports-related banter and polls"

I can only think that as it is something to do with Scottish football (if that isn't an oxymoron), it can't be classed as sports-related.

If you ever get the chance to read a book called The Shankill Butchers you will find that the most violent of the Protestant murderers was called Murphy, so it is unwise to judge purely on the basis of a surname. It is that kind of presumption that prevented Rangers from signing Danny McGrain, who as it turned out was a Rangers fan who went on to become one of the best ever players Celtic have signed.
Besides, there is no footage of the incident, only a rant by Walter over it. Funny how he had a clear view of THAT one yet when asked about the "goal" the other night he responded "It is very difficult to see much from the dugout". Aye right!!

Shauny lad come on, seriously you don't believe all this paranoia pash do you. Face it, refs and linesman are going to make mistakes, they're human. Look at Brines, Rangers fans hate him, but there's no way I think he gives decisions against Rangers. And Gordon Smith(The ex-Rangers Player and now Chief Executive of the SFA) is way above any of that Pro-Rangers stuff given about. If he was such a Rangers man there's no way he'd share a platform with a chunt like Spiers as he did the other week.

What I believe is that in this season's Old Firm matches we have had a perfectly good goal disallowed which would have seen us record a 2-1 victory. In the first OF match we could have been awarded 3-4 penalties and only got 1. The referee himself admitted the following day that he had got it wrong. The particular incident he referred to would probably have resulted in Weir being red-carded as last man too. But of course all these "innocent mistakes" are supposed to even themselves out. If that is the case then we will be having some fortuitous run-in. Assuming that the poor old ref had actually "got it right", even without the latest Motherwell shocker we would be a paltry 2 points adrift.
Anyway, despite all of this we will still overhaul your mob, and then laugh all the way to your winding-up order.

Shaun, interested in your opinions on Mowbray? One of my best mates, who is one of your lot, can't stand him.

Opinion on him is very varied with plenty who would still be happy to see him punted tomorrow. There are only a few that actually believe it will all come good, and most of them don't think that will happen before next season. The rest, which comprise about 60-70% IMHO are unconvinced that he will be gone before the end of the season but have hearts and heads in sharp conflict.
I think the most telling post I saw on one of the Celtic forums I go on related to a comment that had been made by a Hibees fan regarding Mowbray. The Hibee said that Mowbray can spot a good player and can assemble a great squad, but he just can't get them to play as a team. Too near the truth for my liking on the evidence thus far. Still, I'd love to be proved wrong.

However crap Caldwell and McManus were they managed to get through 3 CL seasons and got to the last 16 twice under Strachan, Mowbray comes in and they turn into the worst defenders Celtic have had in decades and that is saying something.

I never though Mowbray would be a success but I am still prepared to give him into next season.
