hip is in agony where they mined it to excavate bone to put in my hand.
really miserable and in pain so I have hit the morphine and am going to bed.

Went into town, but the barber's was closed

There was a notice in the window offering the flat upstairs for let... I wonder if they've actually closed down, or if they just knock off at four in the afternoon - my last few attempts to go there have all been after four...

Not sure how I'll cope if I have to find somewhere else to get my hair cut, after twenty years of going there

I've been going to the same barbers for 40 years now... what a frightening thought...

I only changed to this one coz the previous one popped his clogs.

Back from my traumatic ex-house mining weekend and the flat is now awash with memories good and bad (mostly rubbish of course which will take months to get rid of....)
