    Shame you couldn't get better.

My desktop PC that I got in November has a quad core processor, 8GB RAM and 1.5TB HDD.

And three monitors, for that multi-angle viewing

          I need a new PC.

Maybe I'll treat myself next month.

and as I can't be 'd to build one myself I imagine it's quite hard to get one without it on.

That village shop has everything you could possibly need.
                  Nothing that you want though

My November PC came with XP Pro 64 as a choice rather than Vista.

Vista seems OK, provided what you want to install on it is supported (and your hardware etc. etc.) - e.g. I don't think that Oracle is supported on Vista, but I run mine in a VM anyway which is why the PC is so powerful.

Vista is fine once you get the hang of it.
I hated it at first, I wouldn't change now though
