I have loads of old pine and red cedar floorboards to build the bookcases from.

I will run them through my thicknesser planer and they will come up beautifully.

I will build traditional free-standing 6' 6" by 4' 6" bookcases with a drawer at the base, well detailed but untreated except for sealing wax.
