I've been reading about how traffic from positions 3-6 on the right of the google results (the sponsored links from adwords) convert better than traffic from the top positions.

Same with organic results - that means people who click the 3rd -6th result are more inclined to buy than people who just click the 'top position' - which so many people get so hysterical about getting...

It's crazy how what gurus and experts say contrasts so heavily with what peopel actually do.

Now that is interesting! I have no idea where MrsF's site comes in terms of what people are searching for - just not had time to look into it. I don't even know what the keywords are that people are using - 56% comes from direct traffic and only 28% from search engines.

Google Analytics is ticking over doing the stats, but it needs a bit longer for anything really meaningful to come out of them.
