So far today, I built and tested a Butterworth 1kHz low pass filter, a 3dB Chebyshev 1kHz low pass filter and a 1kHz Bessel lowpass filter.
All very interesting.
Particularly the Bessel and the Chebyshev.
The Bessel rolls off very very slowly but doesn't ring on the edges of a square wave, whereas the Chebyshev rolls off fast & rings like buggery on the edges of the squarewave and has ripples in the passband to boot.
I'm ever so pleased.Comment
