Worked really hard today, and have to finish the coving tomorrow and level the floor in the kitchen, finish fitting the bathroom suite, and if it's dry I want to re-point the stack.

I am one of those who was 'rescued' by the Scout Association, learned some skills, learned some stuff about myself (strengths and weaknesses), developed self-respect and realised I was not worthless.
I've since built on that.
I can do a decent fried egg butty too.
