Most of the original plaster coving had been removed from my new house, wanting to replace it we searched diligently for a matching coving.

Unable to locate a suitable coving with a profile matching that of the original, we decided to replace with a profile that would suit the property.

We went to B&Q to purchase the coving, and found that they sold room packs of pre-mitered coving for £27 a pack, whose profile was an almost exact match for the original coving from the house.

I will finish tiling bathroom 1 today, and also finish installing the suite.

Plaster the last of the downstairs ceilings.

Renew the skirting board to the now blocked up chimney breast in the master bedroom.

Replace the skirting board in the hallway, and finish the picture rail in the dining room

Fit the architrave around the new loft hatch on the landing, and the one to the kitchen extension loft.
