Isn't it odd how some words are so much more difficult to touch type than others?

touch for instance was much slower than the words around it... I wonder why?

And some words almost reduce me to hunt and peck.

I cannot touch-type "PERFORM". I spent a number of years as a COBOL programmer typing PREFORM almost every time.

Things that concentrate around one letter seem to be a challenge. TRYST is unlikely to be right first time for me.
