whaddya think? 650? 700 or should i go out all guns blazing at 1000. oracle wouldn't get out of bed for 2k a day for the same work.
Oracle charge £600+ ex VAT for an Associate Consultant.
Senior Consultant is at least £1500 ex VAT.
Principal Consultant is at least £2500 ex VAT.
(Minus discounts etc.)
BUT - companies don't see that, they will always think a contractor is expensive. I was discounted to £1000 a day to Orange one year, and when they discussed me going direct as a contractor offered me £300 max.
Need details of the work before I would suggest a price.

yeah. senior consultant range i would think but i'm me so i'll probably go with a more comfortable and reasonable 650. it depends on the contract details in the next day or so. i'll raise it if it seems doable.

I was a Senior Consultant (1) when I left. On the Oracle global employee scale, that counts as a Principal Consultant (which is what it says on my CV).
If I was to go back now, it would need to be as a Principal, which would possibly be pushing it a bit.
