Difference is between about £4 and £10 though - I just can't afford it and pay the BFH

I'm having a bit of a dilemma. Having recently started contracting with no savings and lots of debt, with the doom to come I'm torn between paying off some plastic or putting some cash aside just incase I find myself benched.

The impossible decision.

I always go for "reduce the debts".

My wife always goes for "put some aside for a rainy day".

The solution?
