I was implying that all men are assholes unless they buy women pretty sparkly things because women are generally speaking quite materialistic. (A low blow I know and not strictly true in a lot of cases, but surprisingly true in a great many)
Going for married men/men in a long term relationship is never a good idea unless you are looking for and expecting nothing more than a quick night of fun. The chances of them leaving thier significant other are virtually zero, and even if they do could you trust them to not do it to you (I wouldn't)?
Another strange generalisation is that women generally speaking seem to be attracted to men who are not single, I'm sure many a man here will have stories of how they didn't get a sniff for 3 years odd and as soon as they hooked up with somebody every girl they met was laying it on like it was going out of fashion.....
Oh... maybe I was just talking bollocks then!!
I don't think all women are materialistic... someone who can provide for a "family" I think is what most women want even if they won't admit it..
Married men, tell me about it.... my ex husband had two affairs so I think it would be wrong to embark on that kind of affair but thats not to say I haven't been stupid enough to A - snog a married/taken man and B - be fooled into thinking they weren't complete twats...
As for not getting a sniff for ages and then a tonne come along at once..... happens to us girlies too, you know...

Yep. I didn't realise women glance at men's left hands until I wore a wedding ring.
