    HOW MUCH??? It's only a goggle-box, FFS.

Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

He went on to buy that mainframe.

I - being only a grunt - did not get a look in. The salesman that filled the form in probably got a six week tropical holiday, a new car and a house extension.
The Civic Centre in Newport S Wales houses a Mainframe from those days.

Like Friends from 1998, The Good Life and Spanish football.

            Right.

And makeover shows, Polce dramas, cookery programmes and gardening programmes. And Big <yawn> Brother.

BUT because it does not have a REAL operating system on it, can only do 1% to 2% of what a 1980s mainframe could do.

Windows is gladioli and MicroShaft put the IT industry back 30 years and left it there.

There. An opinion from An Old Git who is in a minority of about 1.

Spent the last few hours going through my personal papers.

Found that I am paying commercial vehicle insurance by monthly DD that I paid in full when I took it out. Have to claim it all back now.
Found that Some of my properties are under insured.
2 life policies covering the same thing.
I really must keep on top of this stuff

I suppose I had better go and get it then.

I'll remember this next time YOU want a cup of tea.

And don't expect me to bring you a biscuit, either.
