maybe. though to be honest the only thing i need from microsoft is office and i will be loading that on a moment or two.
I've got a couple of XP VMWare images on my machine at home, and run things in there. Granted, the machine is also XP, but it means that I can have specific environments in VMWare that don't interfere with the others.
