"Did you cry when you watched Watership Down for the first time?"
i don't think so... my parents took me and my sisters to the premiere - which was quite a big deal for us. i don't recall weeping though i guess i would have been affected by it. as a 12 year old i was probably tough enough to cope with it.Comment

"Have you named someone else's pet?"
yes! at a dinner party. the hosts dogs had just produced a new litter of puppies. they were pedigree and one of the pups was going to be kept and the others sold. they had decided which one but had not yet decided on a name. the names that they used were always sugar related. don't ask me why - i don't recall. of course much time was spent ooohing and aaahing over the cute puppies.... anyway, during dinner the name just popped into my head. it was one of those eureka moments - i knew it was absolutely perfect. i blurted it out and it was a unanimous hit. it became the dogs formal name. i'm not telling you what it is though.Comment
