BMI pride themselves on being "Heathrow's most punctual airline".

I think I've had two flights on time since I started flying this route in June.

Silverlink claimed 98% on-timeness when I used them.

According to my little diary, on average just over one train in 10 was under ten minutes late.

Train one way standard is more expensive than a return flight.

That's booking the train three months in advance and plane a month in advance.

First journey of the new year will probably be by train, as I'm travelling on a Tuesday so it should be cheaper.

And I'm finally moving into my room tonight, so will need to bring things down with me.
