Anyone else finding the market completely dead? Not an awful lot of network stuff around right now. Not sure whether to stick with the soul-crushing permie NHS job, find another permie job, find a contract (with the uncertainty around next year) or what. Can't see much of a way forward in life right now tbh.

And trying to sort the children out doesn't help. CovToddler is full of snot and whiny with it.
CovKid is doing OK but was late for school again this morning. Just won't bloody get dressed - he spent this morning rolling round the floor in his onesie until ten minutes before time to go. Eventually pushed him and Mrs CB out the door with the bare minimum of trousers and shoes - needed to get the shirt and jumper on later. Luckily he's been observed at school now and we await the discussion with the school nurse and team in a week or so.Comment
