    So what's going on this fine evening?

    I'm having a fabbo night installing XP pro on my downstairs neighbours home made (not by him) AMD Frankenstein machine..

    It's been stuck on 'installing devices' for about 40 minutes now

            I did some installations at the weekend. XP Pro on VMWare, and Win 2000 on an old machine. The old machine was worse than the others, as although I have drivers, the CD is rubbish since it's a generic disc so has loads of drivers for different motherboards, soundcards etc. So I need to open the computer again to find out what's in there, to install the drivers.

            Or I could just bin it off...
