Really need to sort out the flat.

For the last seven months, despite vague promises, my entire family have been 'too busy' to come and help.

Right now, I just want to or hope the place falls down and I don't have to worry about it.

Anyone know what house clearances do? Do I just remove the things that need keeping and say "make it all disappear"? Or do I need to empty drawers and the like?

I know what you mean, I find Sunday mornings very trying.

I'm thankful that ZeitSis has spent as much time here as she has.

Though the place is still a tip, with the front room full of binbags containing old clothes & material.

Not to mention the boxes of drugs.

Around here the charity shops take furniture, but I think you'd have to empty it first.

They would come & collect it.

Well the sun has gone, it's heavy drizzle at the moment.

            And not particularly warmer either.

Roast beef was very nice. It was nicely marbled.

Sweet was prunes & custard, but I dunno what I did* to the custard coz it was as lumpy as a lumpy thing.

              Tasted ok though.

*I measured using a table spoon instead of a desert spoon. Doh!

                I like lumpy custard.

Ta. BHF do 'house clearance', so might give them a call next week and see how much they will do. Will ignore for today, and go and hack at stuff in the garden and see if that improves my spirits.

I'd suggest a chainsaw, but we all know what happens to people on here using power tools.
