Swim this morning. Felt really queasy afterwards. Sipping hot chocolate for my recovery sugar fix.
And still can't get my new goggles adjusted right.
I went through a whole goggle thing this time last year, expensive and can-be painful experiment, I settled on the speed-sockets as they are fully adjustable but I think they broke me in as opposed to me breaking them in.
Speedo have a new model out this year claiming to be better fitting and leakproof, depends on the shape of your face though. My £3 junior ones from decathlon still best fitting, just have a really short shelf life.

Cycled 80kms yesterday, fairly quick (34kmh average) given the boozy weekend beforehand, and was assisted in the last 10 km by a fast moving muck cart that overtook me at 45 kmh, then I sat in his slipstream going about 50. Great fun, if a little smelly and mucky; I was all brown when I got home and I've still got dust in my eyes. A few sprints and a good steak this evening, rest tomorrow, then intervals on Thursday and cadence training on Friday.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Replaced my goggles with exactly the same model (Zoggs Predator Flex), but just can't get them right this time. PITA.
