I have not watched the DVD of my swim yet : but its on the laptop. Which I am taking to Wales this weekend.

15 minute walk to the car. I parked just off Canary Wharf. Very close to BlackWall tunnel. But I have gone through it so just need to head north.

Should be an easy journey until the M25. M1 a bit sticky. Expressway usually fine. Then M6 will be total hell. Hopefully North Wales will be fine.

I have some energy drinks for the car. Once or twice recently I have got a bit tired. And I was up at 5am today to park the car at 6am.

Of course I queued for the blackwall tunnel : at 5:45am!

But once in there it only took 2 minutes to get through.

Thing is they merge 2 lanes just before the tunnel. I reckon they should take that further back.

Also, just after tunnel, alot of people turn left into the wharf/london. I reckon they should be forced to use left hand lane only. That would stop alot of merging which causes alot of the congestion.

Its usually better if the traffic keeps flowing. Which is why variable speed limits work so well.

5 degrees, slightly damp, Daimler fine. Daimler will be visiting the garage next week for a minor servicing and some exterior renovation. I'm informed that my replacement car from the garage will be a Jaguar XJ8, just a couple of years younger than my beloved Daimler. Well I suppose I can slum it for a few days.
