Nice one! Well if you're in tomorrow I'll buy you a beer!

            Morning.

It's a chilly one today, boys and girls. Much defrosting of windscreen required.

              Salt to taste.

Put cream in a mixing bowl and whisk hard for 5-6 minutes until it goes passed whipped and starts releasing liquid ( you'll know when it happens!)

Pour off the liquid, it's butter milk, and keep it for cooking etc. makes really good milk shakes as welland even tastes good if you drink it just as it is.

Using a wooden spatula work the butter to release all the butter milk and drain it off.

Add a couple of tablespoons of fresh water to the butter and work it again to rinse it. Drain again and this time discard the liquid. Repeat once more.

Add salt to taste and work the butter again to mix it evenly.

              Done.
Hmmm, finding double cream over here will be fun.

              Not sure it exists.

Despite ordering kitchen appliances over two weeks ago and when said order was placed the items in question were in stock, delivery is yet to be forthcoming.

Kitchen is being installed on Monday.

                      Mercifully WFH today.

Waiting for the kitchen to turn up (aka cupboards and worktops and whatnot).

Am hoping one of the workmen calls me when it does, so I can pop over.
