Had a problem with the chips, have a feeling it was to do with the type we used ( whatever was available as both us have have the lurgy), also didn't use a deep fat fryer so temperature was a tad inconsistent.

Next time, 7 weeks aged, right type of spuds, and a deep fat fryer for consistency!

Thanks to GF#1, I'm a big convert to Cyprus potatoes. Great frying chips. I use a wok and temp gauge to triple cook mine. Always triple cook nowadays. Worth it.
