Evening all and Happy New Year!
Great food at the pub - worthy of the Grub Club. They had some amuse bouches: scallop and mint peas, quail egg "Scotch Egg" and goat's cheese wantons, I had ham hock and melba toast followed by roasted guinea fowl - amazing!
Red wine, Vesper Martinis, Espresso Martinis, Prosecco, Paulaner German beer brought over by one of the German lasses...and woke up without a hangover, thanks to the Terminator liver I installed for the evening.
Even finished off today with an amazing motorbike excursion on the empty roads - maximum leanage and even hit 14,000 rpm! Wooohoooo!
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Sounds like a fab evening, food sounds lovely.
We just had bresaola with parmesan and olive oil, foie gras, martinis, trockenbeerenauslese and some German fizz.
Currently teaching Mr N to use the pasta roller. Have made a porcini veloute and we'll have it with some home made tagliatelle. We were supposed to have a porcini risotto but I realised too late I had no risotto rice left
Cue plan B!Comment
