That was my plan, but needs must.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostI'm avoiding London work for ever.
Could afford quite a few more months benchtime and then some, but don't want a huge gap on the old cv.
All the gigs in cloggers are dead ATM.Comment

Better to fill in some time with a London gig until something turns up in Cloggyland. The longer you're on the bench the harder it is to convince idiot recruitment agents that your brain doesn't immediately turn to mush the second you're out of work.Originally posted by norrahe View PostThat was my plan, but needs must.

Just rode the Harley down to (From Wales) Southampton and back. managed to do it without getting a wetting.
Passed loads of stretches where it had been raining, but luckily missed it all

I normally don't bother with the agents who's first question is about CV gaps. Over in cloggers, the expect you to have gaps and never question them at all. In the UK they freak out about it.Originally posted by Bunk View PostBetter to fill in some time with a London gig until something turns up in Cloggyland. Well the interview is thankfully via skype or phone which is a change from people insisting you meet them face to face. I've also mentioned I'd like to aim for 2 days a week working from home, so will see what happens when I speak to them.
So if things work out I may be organising the weekly drinks again
Also Diver and BP can take me out to lunch if they're in the city
