Just had the first interruption by an esteemed customer.

Fortunately not one of mine so he buggered off again.

Just tried to install AVG free on a pc in the project room.

          It's not on the network.

Naturally, the latest version of AVG Free requires authenication over the web.

I may dig out an older version & try that.

The problem you are going to have is maintaining the updates on the system. Why not connect it to the network for a one-time installation and download the updates either daily or 3 times a week to keep it up to date?

                Morning!

Another fine day and stuck in this concrete monstrosity they have a cheek to call an office.

I'd rather be sunning myself than writing C#.

You say that now... but wait until we get 8" of the white stuff.

                    Updates are no problem.

You just download them & run the Update from directory thingie.

I used to do that a couple of years ago.

P.S. I don't know how to connect stuff to the network.

                    Ignorance is bliss.

i.e. they can't ask me to fix stuff.
