One day I will spend time on myself or Mrs BP rather than the kids.

But it was very very productive.

Best of all baby BP is progressing very very well at the moment. Probably at the emotional intelligence of a 3 year old now. But he is a wizard on the computer and his speech is superb.

Indeed. And I forgot the BEST bit. He is actually statring potty training! Aged 4.5 is very late - but he got out of the bath to do a wee. He got chocolate. A neighbour bought cakes around just before dinner - he wanted one. Was told he had to do a wee - he whipped off his nappy, strained for 30 seconds then did the business. Got a cake.

These things might not seem like much to most here (or even disgusting) but to me they are an incredibly important part of moving into the real world.

One day he might actually be normal like me.

I know of some parents who's kids are still aren't potty trained aged 3, so he's not that late, despite his problems.

I consider the 3 most important aspects of child rearing to be potty training, swimming & bike riding. At least he can ride a bike and could do so aged 3(and 11 months). Once potty training is done I can then focus on swimming - at the moment we are taking him once every 2 weeks.

These days I post far more about the kids than I do about me - I must focus more on myself.
