That's right he isolates a radiator and puts some solution in that might seal small leaks.
The rust around the casing of the valve was a bit of a give away.
I borrowed eldests phone and I've got video footage of the leak.
So I called british gas and an engineer will be out before 1pm. I asked that the incompetent fool who has been out twice before to be excluded from the call.Comment

plasterer has turned up and I've had to remove all the newly put on sockets and clear the room.
I spent the night on the floor in DD2 room and was up at 6am as she had a sore throatComment

On the plus side my mini display / hdmi cable has arrived so if I wanted to I could stream movies to the TV.Comment

there have been problems getting the audio to work but I went to sound/output and just selected the TV and bosh - it worked.Comment
