    Stone me.

    In another piece of engineering genius, I've just created some electrically operated arms on an OO gauge level crossing.

    All it took was:

    a) a hornby "automatic" level crossing

    b) a somewhat defunct radio control servo (sans the electronic bits) I found in a junk box

    c) a length of black thread

    d) some blutack

    e) an H bridge L293D driver circuit built by the esteemed customer whose project this creation belongs to.

    I'm so proud I think I'll go home at 16:15 just to celebrate.
