My current hosts provided no support or help when the site was hacked repeatedly before Christmas.

Unless you count deleting my forum completely and denying it "help", of course.

They also denied that there was a problem with the site, but miraculously, after I told them about it and hounded them for a day, the site fixed itself with no-one doing anything.

What are the odds of that happening, eh?

I've migrated onto a UK-based host now, though, so at least support are likely to be awake when I need them, rather than having to work US hours to get problems solved.

New site is running nicely - got the Wordpress database working fine (even managed a blog post this morning!!) and got the forum running again, with the latest versions.

Unfortunately, by changing nameservers to the new host, it's no longer looking at the MX records that I had setup with the old hosts, which means I can't use Google Apps to get email properly any more.

Considering I only got Google Apps sorted last week, which is a touch frustrating.

So now I have the site hosted in the UK, which is running fine. BUT because I haven't migrated the domain to the new host as well, I have no access to the MX records for GApps.

So now, we wait for the domain to be migrated to the UK hosts, so I can then get into the MX records and correct them.
