IMO it should be an automatic denial. Well at least without an inspection chamber.Originally posted by MarillionFanAt one point yesterday it looked like we were going to be going over a main manhole which according to the new rules of October 2011 is an automatic denial of building works.
Our neighbours recently got a blocked drain and asked if they could use our manhole as they have a conservatory on theirs. However there is only a manhole every 4 houses. Of course you don't need planning permission for a conservatory - but I would have put an inspection chamber in.
