Our neighbours recently got a blocked drain and asked if they could use our manhole as they have a conservatory on theirs. However there is only a manhole every 4 houses. Of course you don't need planning permission for a conservatory - but I would have put an inspection chamber in.
Friends have a well in their living room and have turned it into a feature.....Comment
