I'm just taking 5 critical updates + 7 more updates for daughters laptop. She doesn't appear to take them when offered.

When I put Linux on MrsF's laptop, I explained that she won't get nagged to update, and if she updates then there won't be a "You need to restart...." pop-up every 30 seconds. All you need to do is click on the padlock and install the updates.

She heard "You don't need to update"
