Phone reception on an iPhone isn't great?!?!?

Getting bombarded by emails from ClientCo which I have no interest in.

e.g. email to everyone asking if one person has completed their tests yet. Followed up with a reply to all saying no. Followed by a reply to all highlighting that they need to get it done this week. Followed by a reply to all saying "I know".....

Apparently, production environment isn't faring too well because they haven't got rid of the code which keeps generating the millions of duff records.

They need to get the fix in this weekend, or they miss the opportunity for a release.

I don't know when the next opportunity for a release is, but if they miss this one, then the whole system is going to fall on it's arse in the very near future.

The testing team were meant to check how many records got deleted when they ran the script to fix it in the testing environment. They haven't done this yet.

They were also meant to check that the script didn't impact anything that was running.

But then they installed my code on top of it, so I don't know how they intend to prove that it's a harmless correction.

                      Deep joy.

The infrared receiver chips that I ordered because they were "the same" as the now unobtainable ones, aren't the same.

                      Ho hum.

The data goes away after about 3 seconds as the thing drops its gain.

                      Ho very hum.
