In a senior moment last week, I was busy hacking away at a C file.

For some reason, (mostly coz I spend time programming in PIC assembler), I was under the impression that ";" turned stuff into a comment.

Oh Dear(tm).

It did do some very interesting things though.

The code (and I use the word lightly) was written by a consultancy that off-shored it, with (it appears) only rudimentary knowledge of Oracle (and none in this niche area).

So I've told them to give me 6 weeks and I'll re-do the 6 months of development from scratch and get it fixed.
