It packed up last year and the error code suggested the motor triac had gone. New circuit board job, £200 thank you very much. (I'm in the wrong game)
Now the bugger had packed up once before that and we had called in an engineer and had a new board so I was suspicious last year (when it failed in the same way) and didn't get a new board fitted. It miraculously started working again when the weather got better. It's done the same thing again so I'm suspecting the cold weather has caused condensation on t'board (machine lives in an unheated part of the house). So I've got a fan heater pointed at it and I'll get the top off and use a hairdryer on the master circuit board later. If that doesn't work we have the original circuit board ...
5* - we have a pretty good selection of tools but you can get a long way with a flat blade knife, some WD-40 and a roll of Gaffer tape (and a hairdryer).
