In other news, my laptop is broken. It was 2 years old. I'm trying to decide which is less painful; calling Dell and trying to get it fixed or coughing up in excess of a grand for a new one (not from Dell ).

They're ok for running the sort of software we mundane engineering types require.

They still sort of work.

When I say "handy", I suppose I mean that if we ever wanted to use them to run stuff on a long obsolete ISA card, then we could.Comment

As I may have mentioned before Xmas, someone gave me a P150 laptop.
The carrying case is worth more than the laptop now.Comment
