I've had a response back from the company and it appears there is to be no movement on salary.

I've bounced it back with my proposal of 4 day week reasonable price contract.

Almost busy there for a while.

Two esteemed customers one after the other.

Both wanting stuff we don't have in the stores.



They told me what they wanted & I told them what they could have.

One of them wanted an Atmel AT89C2051 microcontroller (because I bet that's what the design on the interweb thingie uses).

He seemed disappointed when I said that a) we ain't got any b) we don't have any programming software and c) we don't have a device programmer.

He seemed almost disheartened when I suggested he should use a PIC.

I'm cruel, I am.
