A nice combi would be good but I'm not sure how this would affect our showers as one is off at shower pump and might not be suitable off a combi !

Combi is not best advised for anything bigger than a two bed house.

Shop around and see what deals you can get, iirc there was some boiler scrappage deal going, but that may have gone the way of the car scrappage scheme.

You don't get much of a flow off a combi.

Or should I say, I don't get much of a flow off my combi.

Plus it free up a bit of space in the airing cupboard

It certainly does.

And you can spend literally months plastering, painting and papering said airing cupboard to make it look decent, then put up some more shelves.

Then you can hide more junk in that cupboard, just like all the rest of the cupboards.

But this cupboard will be really nice & warm & dry.

I applied for a gig last night in Glasgow, the agent calls this morning at 8.15 and says its been filled and wants to place me in Munich - same spec and rate. Hmmm me thinks the Glasgow gig was a red herring
