I think I'll go & check for leaks.

It would be a tad embarassing.

Though no one complained when 5 litres of developer disappeared into the crack in the floor.

I should know tonight for sure. But the joint between plug and tray is now water tight (hopefully)
I think you put a hex on me as we discovered a leak in the bathroom yesterday. It appeared to be a slightly loose fitting on the waste pipe as it has now stopped dripping.

however we might have to upgrade the boiler. Plumber is coming tonight to recommend and price one up.

Reason being we have been adding extra rads and the boiler is really struggling to heat the ones on the end of the chain.

I proved this to be the case by switching off 4/5 rads around the house via their TRVs and bosh they others started to get hotter.

the boiler has been in 15/16 years and we have added 6 extra rads since then.

We have a standard boiler at present, would be nice to have something more efficient and powerful.

I know it wont pay for itself but I reckon plumber bloke and his mate will do it for ~1500.

his mate holds the gas safe card.

Plus it free up a bit of space in the airing cupboard

A nice combi would be good but I'm not sure how this would affect our showers as one is off at shower pump and might not be suitable off a combi !
