              Gosh.

              First the Uher portable tape recorder wouldn't work at all.

              Then it worked with the covers off.

              Then it didn't work with the covers back on. (I really love it when stuff does that).

              And now one of the rubber belts randomly flings itself off the pulleys.

                However, on the bright side (as ever), I just found a site that had the operators & service manuals for the HP3586 selective level meter, of which I have one, a "C".

                All 100Mb of downloads.
