Well there's the first pcb of the new academic year produced.

The chunk of double sided pcb was so old that the protective film wouldn't pull off cleanly.

So it's got streaks here & there & a big blob in (a vacant bit in) the middle where a large chunk of glue wanted to stay.

    Ho hum.

Hope it works after all this.

And it's glass fibre, so I'll be itching for a week once I've drilled it.

Got to change the FeCl etchant. It took 50 minutes to etch that board & I had to move it up & down by hand to stimulate it a bit.

Haven't checked in here today but - ahh bugger Zeity.
I know the NHS have a reputation for not giving a toss but that is unacceptable. You have to make a big, polite fuss. Just make sure they can't dismiss you as aggressive, because that gives 'em a get out clause. I have some experience with this.
MRSA is not necessarily a big deal. Lots of us carry it (and so do our pets) and it only becomes a problem when you have an invasive injury (or surgery). Even then it can be treated very effectively and the vast majority of people will get over it with few ill effects.

ZeitPater is progressing at home, thanks, Zippy.
